The Battle of Wavre was the last battle of the Hundred Days campaign and the Napoleonic Wars. It took place on 18-19 June 1815, between Prussian under the command of General Johann von Thielmann and the French army. This battle o prevented many of the French corps from participating in the Battle of Waterloo on June 18, 1815, thus contributing to the final downfall of Napoleon.
