19. Which villain became famous as ‘The Man Who Broke the Bat’?
Bane.
He was sentenced to life in prison for the crimes of his father, a revolutionary known as “King Snake.” While serving his sentence, he forced himself to become the most feared inmate, enhancing his already muscular physical strength and intelligence. He eventually broke out of prison and escaped to Gotham, where he challenged Batman to a duel.
